Hi there! I am an applied researcher currently working as a research fellow at the University of Turin, and was previously a postdoctoral researcher at Sapienza University of Rome (2023-24) and University of Pisa (2024-25).
- My current areas of interest are: Political Economy, Crime Economics and Health Economics. During my MSc, I have also worked on environmental economics and behavioural epidemiology.
- Employing game-theoretic and microeconometric methods, I am currently studing: (i) the interplay between mafia-related violence and state response to crime; (ii) the mafia-politics collusion through vote-buying; (iii) the effect of peacetime military conscription on mental health.
- During my PhD at University of Bologna (2019–2024), I was also a visiting student at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS), hosted by Mathieu Couttenier (Nov–Dec 2022 and Apr–May 2023).
